My background
Hi, I'm Tom! I started playing Pickleball in 2017 and fell in love with the sport instantly. Within five minutes I was ordering my own first paddle and I have not looked back since! Within a year and a half I was competing in the top flight of the Inaugural English Open International Championships and taking my IPTPA Coaches Qualification. Since then I have competed from the local Club level Tournament, to the International Championship level, and loved every victory and each defeat, as it was all in the sport that I adore. I have coached multiple players to medal winning performances at National Championships and English Opens, with many more to come!

My background
Having become completely addicted to pickleball in early 2022, I have played at every opportunity including competing in national and international tournaments. My two favourite aspects of pickleball are firstly its accessibility (across e.g., age, gender, athleticism), and secondly its tactical nature with brain and body working together in synergy. I decided to qualify as a IPTPA pickleball coach because I would love to spread the joy of this wonderful sport – with fun at the core, while also focusing on the unique combination of pickleball strategies and techniques.

Pickleball is first and foremost about having fun! After that, it all starts with the Dink; everything grows from that in some way. The way to win in Pickleball is to keep the ball in play for one shot longer than your opponent. If you can Dink with the best, and keep the ball in play one shot longer than your opponent then you will never lose - but if you always have fun then you will always be a winner!!

Each group coaching session is charged at £35/hr (per court) with the client obtaining the courts of their choice. Each court should not hold more than 6 people for optimum training.
Single court coaching sessions are charged at £50/hr.
Clubs desiring coaching sessions can enquire about discounts for larger scale and/or repeating sessions.

We are based in the Esher area of Surrey, just outside of Wimbledon, and mainly serve the South London and Surrey area. For larger scale bookings and events, we can travel further distances.
